Both SMB and SME can have the same level of turnover. Hence they are both classified as ‘Small to Medium Sized’ in term of volume.
Staffing #
Most of the staff in SMB are usually outsourced, meaning that they have fewer full time employees while SMEs has more of their staff as full staff.
Operations #
In terms of operations, SMB have fewer operation while SME has wider scope in their operations
