Why I choose this over skim or other tools #

1. Cross platform
2. Stable
3. It is possible to export annotations and index them anywhere
4. There is python apps: PyMuPDF, that can be used to extract comments stackoverflow
5. In my workflow I want the documents and comments made while reading them searchable and easily available to me, using Org Roam, e.g. I can make this possible using python.

• Why I moved to acrobat

  skim is not cross platform, not supported by multiple OS and no cloud storage
